The 31-year-old midfielder made his 297th Premier League appearance in the 32nd round match against Chelsea.
Bernardo surpassed Luis Boa Morte (296 games), a former player for Fulham, West Ham and Arsenal. Cristiano Ronaldo (236) completes the top three.
