Al-Ittihad striker Karim Benzema opened the scoring with a successful penalty in the 29th minute. Eight minutes later, Al-Qadisiyah striker Julian Quinones equalized. Quinones scored his second goal in the 59th minute.
After 16 games in the Saudi Arabian Pro League, Al-Qadisiyah is fourth in the standings with 36 points. Al-Ittihad is sixth with 27 points.
