Former Real Madrid and current Al-Ittihad player Karim Benzema commented on Kilian Mbappe's performance at the Madrid club, stressing that winning the Champions League does not depend on him alone.
Idman.Biz reports that according to Benzema, Mbappe is showing a more mature game, but Real Madrid expects him to score in key moments - in games with Atletico Madrid, Liverpool and other top clubs, in games where space is tight and every chance is valuable.
He noted that the striker needs to have a better connection with Vinicius and work on situations where the opponent has a deep defense.
Benzema emphasized that Mbappe cannot win the Champions League alone: "He needs Vinicius, Rodrygo and Bellingham. One has to score and the other has to create. They have to talk to each other."
According to Karim, Kilian has everything he needs to be a leader, but he needs to show his worth when Real Madrid needs him most.
