"Beşiktaş" is interested in adding former French national team striker Karim Benzema to its squad. Sport24.az reports that the "black eagles" intend to strengthen their team with the French striker of Algerian origin in the summer transfer window.
The 38-year-old footballer is also ready to play for "Beşiktaş". Negotiations have started between the parties. Only Benzema's high salary demands may prevent the transfer from happening.
His contract with "Al-Ittihad" is valid until June 30, 2026.
After playing for "Lyon" and "Real", he joined "Al-Ittihad" in 2023.
