"Aston Villa" midfielder Enzo Barrenechea has joined "Benfica" on loan. Sport24.az reports that the Portuguese club's press service released information about this.
A contract has been signed with the 24-year-old Argentinian until the end of the 2025/26 season. According to the "Transfermarkt" portal, "Benfica" paid 3 million euros for the transfer and the contract also includes a purchase option.
It should be noted that Barrenechea spent last season on loan at Valencia. The midfielder scored 1 goal and provided 2 assists in 33 matches.
