The defeat to "Qarabag" in the main stage of the UEFA Champions League has disappointed "Benfica".
"Report" reports that this was stated by the Portuguese club's footballer Entso Barrenechea in his statement to "Sport TV".
He said that they will forget this match and focus on the championship:
"We were demonstrating a collective game, playing forward and were calm. Mistakes should not be allowed in the UEFA Champions League. The result disappoints us. We must focus our attention on the championship game. The UEFA Champions League is a different competition. Even being 2:0 ahead in the score does not give reason to relax. We will talk and focus on the next match".
It should be noted that "Qarabag" defeated "Benfica" 3:2 in Portugal in the first match of the main stage of the Champions League. This went down in history as the first victory of Azerbaijani representatives in the main stage of the continent's most prestigious club tournament.
