Portuguese club "Benfica" has announced the appointment of Jose Mourinho as head coach. Sport24.az reports that the club's press service has released the information.
The contract signed between the Lisbon representative and the 62-year-old specialist will last until the end of the 2026/2027 season.
It should be noted that Jose Mourinho replaced Bruno Lage in this position, who was dismissed the day before.
Lage was fired after a 2:3 defeat to "Qarabag" in the main stage of the Champions League.
