"The first game of the season is always difficult. Although we defeated Dynamo by a large score, the team is not in full shape." These words were said by Khankendi footballer Behruz Teymurov in his statement to Sport24.az.
The experienced footballer evaluated their first game in the national championship - against Dynamo:
"Thank God, we won by scoring 4 goals in the second half. I am glad that I scored my first goal for Khankendi and we won a historic victory. I need to stand out more in order to become a champion. The management has set the goal for the team to rise to the First League as champions. Even if a maximum of 3 transfers are made, this team will compete for the championship not only in the Second League, but also in the First League. 80 percent of the squad has changed compared to last season. Nevertheless, the newly joined players know each other well. As the rounds pass, the team will get better."
It should be noted that Khankendi defeated Dynamo 4:0 in the first round of the national championship.
