Chelsea's co-owner Behdad Eghbali has made important statements about the club's future strategy, transfer policy, and the fate of head coach Liam Rosenior. According to Sport24.az, he stated that there is concern about the team's results, but confidence in the long-term project continues.
Iqbali, concerned about the team's current situation, said that the situation is being analyzed in detail:
"Six months ago everyone was very happy, but the recent results have been mixed and disappointing. We are doing a full analysis of what we can do better."
He also spoke about the transfer policy:
"Our main goal is to keep the club's best players in the squad, and we have done that. We are not planning to rebuild the team every 3-4 years. We are just adjusting the model, learning from mistakes, and developing it."
Eghbali also shared his thoughts on head coach Liam Rosenior:
"He has all the qualities to succeed. He had a good start, the last 5-6 matches were difficult, but we are by his side. Football is a result game, but we believe in his success in the long term."
