An international friendly match between Nigeria's "Abuja" and Zanzibar's JCU teams in Tanzania was interrupted by a bee attack. Sport24.az reports that the Afrizum portal has reported on this.
In the 78th minute of the game, the bees attacked the players. Officials advised the players to lie down on the grass.
The reason for the incident is unknown. Some point to the changing weather conditions, while others point to the abundance of flowering trees near the stadium. It is also possible that the noise from the stadium caused the bees to become aggressive.
It should be noted that after a few minutes the game continued from where it left off and ended with a 2:1 victory for "Abuja".
