"Bayern" has announced that defender Rafael Guerreiro's contract will not be extended and that he will leave the club in the summer of 2026.
Idman.Biz reports that Bayern's sporting director Max Eberl commented on the decision.
"We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Rafa for his time with us: we can always rely on him on the pitch, and he is one of those people who enriches any dressing room. Our discussions with him were constructive and based on trust and mutual understanding. We are now focusing on our goals for the remainder of the season - together we still want to achieve a lot," Eberl said on Bayern's official website.
Guerreiro has played 89 games for Bayern, scoring 12 goals and providing eight assists.
