"Bayern" sporting director Max Eberl has commented on the club's efforts to extend the contract of striker Harry Kane.
Idman.Biz reports that the English footballer's current contract with the Munich team runs until the summer of 2027.
"We are in contact, but that does not mean that negotiations have started. We are actively discussing this with Harry and then we will move on to the next steps. I cannot comment on any rumors about possible interest in Kane from other clubs. I can only say that we are in contact with Harry about his success and our common success," ESPN quoted Eberl as saying.
This season, Kane has scored 38 goals in 35 games in all competitions for "Bayern". According to Transfermarkt, his estimated value is 65 million euros.
