According to the source, the German club actively followed the player last winter and transfer negotiations may begin next summer. The "Reds" are trying to strengthen the right-back with "Feyenoord" defender Civayro Reid. The depth in their squad allows them to negotiate to possibly sell Acheampong.
Josh Acheampong has appeared in 24 games this season and scored two goals. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is 25 million euros. His contract with the "Reds" runs until the summer of 2029.
