Munich's "Bayern" has set a deadline of Sunday, February 1st for defender Dayot Upamekano to decide on extending his contract with the club.
Idman.Biz, citing "Bild", reports that the current offer is only valid until this date.
"Bayern" is offering the defender an annual salary of 20 million euros, an approximate signing bonus of 20 million euros, and has included a buyout clause in the contract, which will be valid until 2027.
Upamekano joined "Bayern" in the summer of 2021 from "RB Leipzig". This season, he has appeared in 25 matches in all club competitions, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
According to Transfermarkt, the player's market value is 70 million euros.
