Bayern's sporting director Max Eberl has answered a question about whether or not to extend the contract of 40-year-old goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
İdman.Biz reports that journalist Fabrizio Romano quoted Eberl's words on the X social media site: "If Manu agrees, feels good, is ready to play and our expectations match, I can imagine extending the contract."
Neuer has played 29 games for the club in all competitions this season, conceding 27 goals and keeping a clean sheet 10 times. Neuer's current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2026. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is 4 million euros.
