"Bayern" is considering "Milan" goalkeeper Mike Maignan as a possible replacement for Manuel Neuer.
İdman.biz reports that the 30-year-old Frenchman's contract with the "Rossoneri" is valid until June 2026.
However, the parties have not yet been able to agree on a new agreement - the club is not ready to meet the goalkeeper's salary demands.
Maignan has played 6 games in all tournaments for "Milan" this season, conceding 3 goals and keeping a clean sheet in 4 games.
Currently, "Bayern"'s main goalkeeper is 39-year-old Manuel Neuer. The team captain recently equaled Thomas Müller's record by winning his 362nd Bundesliga match in the match against Eintracht (3:0).
The Munich representative had a successful start to the 2025/26 season - "Bayern" has won all 10 games it has played so far (6 in the Bundesliga, 2 in the Champions League, 1 in the Super Cup and 1 in the German Cup).
The team will play its next match against Borussia Dortmund on October 18 under the leadership of Vensan Kompany.
