Bavaria's sporting director Christoph Freund has commented on the words of 17-year-old midfielder Lenart Karl, who stated that Real Madrid is his dream club.
İdman.Biz reports that the 17-year-old footballer has been playing for Bavaria since 2022.
"Lenart is very emotional. He is not afraid of anything, including on the field. That's how he plays football. This [statement about Real Madrid] was regrettable, and he realized it immediately.
Lenart also apologized. We talked about what happened. He came to us and said he didn't mean to do it. Karl feels very comfortable at Bavaria. He trained at Real Madrid from childhood - at that time it was his dream club. But he is very happy at Bavaria and we are very happy to have him here," said Freund.
This season, Karl has played 22 games in all competitions, scoring six goals and providing two assists.
