Barcelona is concerned about the successive "conveniently timed" absences of Real Madrid players during national team breaks.
İdman.Biz reports that almost none of the minor injuries, last-minute concerns, and precautionary withdrawals observed in Madrid players cause them to miss La Liga matches.
As a recent example, Deen Huijsen was removed from the squad before Spain's match against Georgia due to discomfort that arose precisely during the last training session. Çubarsi from Barcelona was invited in his place without any restrictions. The Madrid side says that the player will undergo examination and that there is a risk of injury, but his participation in the match against Elche has not yet been questioned.
The same applies to Tibua Courtois and Federico Valverde, key figures in Xabi Alonso's system. Both players left their national teams after the last match: the Belgian goalkeeper suffered a worsening of a long groin muscle injury, while the Uruguayan midfielder experienced tension in his semimembranosus muscle. The club had determined their recovery period to be 10–12 days, and the process was completed literally with "surgical precision" to fit this time - both were able to play in Sunday's league match.
A similar situation arose in France: Kilian Mbappe and Eduardo Camavinga left the national team camp due to minor problems, but there is no risk of missing the championship match on November 23. It is emphasized that this approach is not applied equally to all Spanish players.
Franco Mastantuono in the Argentina national team did not travel with the team due to discomfort. For a similar reason, Lamine Yamal's absence from the Spanish national team caused great discussions. However, Madrid's young player Mastantuono was able to continue club matches - even if not fully ready.
This view is not new. Uruguay released Valverde in the October call-up, and at the beginning of the season, Vinicius, Militao and Rodrigo were managed with special caution by Brazil.
The desire of federations to protect their players is natural. But Barcelona believe that the international break once again fully coincided with the needs of Real Madrid: conveniently timed injuries, precisely planned recovery periods, and a smooth return to La Liga matches.
