"Barcelona" has won both the Spanish championship and the cup in the same season for the ninth time in its history.
According to "Report", the Catalan representative achieved this by defeating "Espanyol" (2:0) away in the XXXVI round of La Liga.
Thanks to the victory, the team secured their 28th championship. "Barcelona" won the Spanish Cup final against "Real" 3:2 in extra time on April 26.
The Catalans also became national champions and won the cup in the 1951/1952, 1952/1953, 1958/1959, 1997/1998, 2008/2009, 2014/2015, 2015/2016 and 2017/2018 seasons.
It should be noted that "Barcelona" also won the Spanish Super Cup in the 2024/2025 season.
