"Barcelona" has signed one of Africa's most prominent teenage forwards.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, Hamza Abdelkarim has transferred to the Catalan club on loan from Al-Ahly. The player arrived in Barcelona on January 31 to undergo a medical examination.
Al-Ahly's football director Walid Salah Al-Din confirmed the transfer:
"Hamza Abdelkarim has completed his transfer to Barcelona. I wish him success and hope that he will be so successful in Europe that he will never return to Egypt again."
Abdelkarim is only 17 years old, but he is already called the "Egyptian Haaland", and there is a good reason for this:
