According to the source, "Barcelona" prefers not to activate the 30 million euro transfer clause. Instead, the Catalans offered "Manchester United" a smaller amount. A second loan idea with a purchase option was also considered.
It is reported that Rashford is determined to stay at Camp Nou and that "Barcelona" wants to keep him. Additional negotiations are expected near the end of the season.
