"Barcelona" is close to signing a major sponsorship deal with the Democratic Republic of Congo.
According to Lent.az, under the terms of the agreement, the club will receive 11 million euros over four years.
It is noted that "Barcelona" will place the logo "DR Congo - The Heart of Africa" on the team's uniform to promote tourism in this country.
DR Congo is rich in copper, cobalt and uranium, but is one of the 5 poorest countries in the world. 65% of the population lives on less than $2.15 a day. The World Bank says Congo has the resources and potential to be one of Africa's richest countries.
The country is currently the world's largest producer of cobalt and a major source of copper in Africa, needed to produce electric cars, smartphones and other technologies.
