"Barcelona" president Joan Laporta spoke about the negotiations to extend Lamin Yamal's contract. Sport24.az reports that Laporta said they had reached an agreement with the 17-year-old footballer:
"Lamin has already accepted our new contract offer. He just needs to turn 18 for that. He will sign a new contract only after he turns 18."
This season, Yamal has played 53 games for "Barcelona", scored 17 goals and made 25 assists. Yamal's current contract with the Catalan club runs until June 30, 2026.
