The "Barcelona" management has made a decision regarding the future of the team's head coach, Hans Flick. Sport24.az reports that the Spanish champion plans to extend the contract with the 60-year-old specialist.
This was reported by the "Bild" publication.
Flick's current contract with the club is valid until the end of June 2027. However, the La Liga giant is preparing to offer the head coach a new contract for the summer of 2028.
"Barcelona" has played 84 games in all tournaments under the leadership of Hans Flick. The team has won 62 of these matches, drawn 9 times, and suffered 13 defeats. The Catalan representative won the Spanish Championship, the national Cup, and the Super Cup last season.
This season, after 17 rounds, "Barcelona" is in 1st place in the Spanish Championship, 4 points ahead of "Real". Flick's team will play its next match on December 21 against "Villarreal", which is in 3rd place in the tournament table.
