Spain's "Barcelona" club has moved to acquire Eduardo Conceição, considered the next big talent in Brazilian football. The Catalan club has begun negotiations with the Brazilian representative in order to transfer the 16-year-old striker from "Palmeiras".
Idman.Biz reports that although the young footballer's release clause is set at 100 million euros (approximately 200 million AZN), it is noted that "Palmeiras" may compromise on this figure. There are reports that the Brazilian club is willing to release the talented player for 50 million euros (approximately 100 million AZN).
However, "Barcelona" is not alone in this transfer race. Giant clubs such as "Manchester City", "Chelsea" and PSG are also lying in wait for the winger born in 2009. In particular, it is claimed that the "cityzens" have already knocked on "Palmeiras"' door with an offer of 40 million euros.
It should be noted that according to FIFA rules, Eduardo can only go to Europe after he turns 18 - in January 2028. However, European giants intend to "book" the young star now, as in the case of Endrick and Estevao. Currently, Conceição, who shines in the South American Championship as part of the Brazilian U-17 national team, is the main candidate to be the best player of the tournament.
