"Barcelona" representatives have begun negotiations regarding the transfer of "Espanyol" goalkeeper Joan Garcia. Sport24.az reports that "Mundo Deportivo" has released information about this.
According to the source, "Barcelona" is ready to offer the goalkeeper a 5-year contract and a higher salary than he receives at "Espanyol".
Meanwhile, Garcia himself has previously stated that he is ready to leave the club if he receives a good offer. "Manchester City" and "Newcastle" are also interested in the goalkeeper.
It should be noted that Garcia conceded 51 goals in 38 La Liga matches in the 2024/25 season. He kept a clean sheet in 8 matches.
