Spanish club "Barcelona" is close to finalizing the transfer of Norwich's 16-year-old attacking midfielder, Ajayi Tavares.
Idman.Biz reports that insider Fabrizio Romano announced this on the "X" social network.
It is reported that the Catalans are close to an agreement regarding the transfer of the 2009-born footballer.
Tavares, a product of Norwich, plays for the club's U-18 team this season. He has made eight appearances in the English Premier League U-18 Championship and two appearances in the English Youth Cup. The young footballer has not yet distinguished himself with productive indicators.
Ajayi Tavares, a citizen of England and also of Portuguese descent, also plays for England's various age groups. He has 15 games and three goals to his name in the national teams.
It should be noted that Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Bayern Munich of Germany, Milan and Juventus of Italy, as well as Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea of England, were previously reported to be interested in the player.
