Spanish representative "Barcelona" is considering extending the contract of midfielder Frenkie de Jong and increasing his salary.
"Report" reports, citing "El Chiringuito", that the Catalans are preparing the details of a new contract with the Dutch midfielder.
Discussions are underway to increase the 28-year-old footballer's annual earnings to 9 million euros, who recently agreed with a new agent.
It is expected that the footballer's contract will be extended until 2028. His current contract expires in 2026.
It should be noted that Frenkie de Jong scored 2 goals and provided 2 assists in 46 matches last season.
