A "Barcelona" fan watched "Exeter City" vs. "Lincoln" instead of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 game against "Newcastle United."
Idman.Biz reports that the fan mixed up the cities and went to a different "St James Park" stadium.
"It was a tale of two cities, and two very different stadiums for one 'Barcelona' fan who visited the wrong St James Park last night.
Traveling from London to Devon, the Spanish football fan passed through the turnstiles of the Adam Stansfield Stand looking forward to watching "Newcastle United." It was only when presenting his ticket to stadium staff that he realized his mistake.
But he got to watch football that night – Exeter City staff gave him a ticket to watch "Lincoln" under the lights at the real St James Park!" - stated the official Exeter City account on social media.
