According to the source, security flaws have been identified in the areas around the south gate that could prevent an official match from being held. Other areas of the stadium also need to be improved.
The Catalan representative is therefore in a difficult situation. "Barcelona" must inform UEFA by August 28 whether it will be able to hold European Cup matches at the "Camp Nou" in the 2025/26 season.
It should be noted that some time ago, the press reported that "Barcelona" would hold La Liga matches with "Valencia" and "Getafe" at the rebuilt "Camp Nou". These matches are scheduled for September 14 and 21.
