"Barcelona" coach Hans-Dieter Flick was unhappy with the refereeing of Jesus Gil Manzano in the match against "Real Sociedad" in the 20th round of the Spanish La Liga. "I don't want to waste my energy discussing that person - the referee. Those at the stadium and those watching the game on TV saw what happened tonight.
I have always had a high opinion of La Liga referees. We have very good referees here. But this guy... This guy, everyone knows what he is like... Frenkie said the referee was arrogant and he is right in his words. Everyone saw what he did tonight."
It should be noted that the meeting ended with a 1:2 defeat for the Catalan representative. "Barcelona", currently with 49 points, leads the tournament table after 20 rounds. "Real Sociedad" has 24 points and is in ninth place.
