The main stage of the UEFA Champions League has ended, and the roadmap to the round of 16 has been determined.
İdman.Biz reports that "Barcelona" and "Chelsea", having completed the main stage in fifth and sixth places respectively, directly qualified for the round of 16 and are awaiting the results of the play-off stage.
In the official statement released by both clubs, it was stated that the potential opponents in the round of 16 are PSG, "Newcastle", "Monaco", and "Qarabag".
After the draw to be held on January 30, "Qarabag" will face PSG or "Newcastle" in the play-off stage. The winner of this pair will face "Barcelona" or "Chelsea" in the next stage.
It should be noted that "Qarabag" has gone down in history as the first Azerbaijani club to reach the play-off stage of the UEFA Champions League.
