Former Genoa forward Mario Balotelli has commented on Patrick Vieira's dismissal from his position as head coach of the Italian club.
Idman.Biz reports that until a new head coach is appointed, Genoa will be led by Roberto Murgita and Domenico Criscito.
"Karma is a stupid thing. God sees everything. Now 'Genoa' can finally pay attention to people who truly love the atmosphere, the fans and the club's emblem, deeply believe in this idea and that 'Genoa' is worthy!
Gilardino and Zangrillo (Alberto Zangrillo, former president and board member of Genoa. He left the club last week - ed.), whose work I personally witnessed, was not in vain: those who came later simply selfishly took maximum advantage of it.
They used Gilardino and Zangrillo's great work, their love for these colors and their loyalty without truly understanding their value. Our thoughts are with 'Genoa' and its fans! Come on, 'Genoa'! I believed in you and I still believe!" - Balotelli wrote on social media.
Mario played for Genoa from October 2024 to July 2025.
