The balls to be used in the leagues under the flag of the Professional Football League in the 2026/2027 season have been determined. Sport24.az reports that members of teams competing in the Azerbaijan Premier League and the Reserve League in the upcoming season will use "Trionda" balls produced by "Adidas".
"Trionda" is a modern football developed for the 2026 World Cup. These balls have a special textured surface, which is designed to improve the ball's flight stability, spin and grip in wet conditions. According to the agreement between the Professional Football League and "Adidas", high-quality "Trionda" balls will be obtained on preferential terms.
I League games will be held using "Fussballiebe" balls, as in the 2025/26 season. II League teams will traditionally have "Adidas Tiro Pro" balls at their disposal.
