Mandatory changes have been made to the schedule and format of the "FIFA Series - 2026" international tournament to be held in Azerbaijan.
Idman.Biz reports that the reason for this is that the Oman national team cannot travel to our country due to the ongoing military tensions in the Middle East. According to the new format agreed with FIFA, the tournament will now consist of two matches.
The Azerbaijan national team will face Saint Lucia on March 27. On the 30th, our football players will test the Sierra Leone team.
Both matches will take place in Sumgayit, at the Mehdi Huseynzade city stadium. The starting whistle for the matches will be blown at 19:00.
