"The preparation process for the second half of the season went well. We resumed training on January 4th. In the meantime, we held 5 friendly matches." These words were said by "Baku Sporting" head coach Royal Najafov in his statement to Sport24.az.
The young specialist said that they are trying to prepare the players physically, psychologically and technically for the matches:
"We have achieved this partially, both in training and in friendly matches. We have to accept the reality that no matter how many training sessions and friendly matches there are, championship games are tough."
According to him, any match against any opponent is difficult after the winter break:
"We must take into account that our opponent is the leader of the league, "Shafa." We will try to end Shafa's unbeaten run. Our goal is to prepare well for each match. We want to be in the highest position possible."
It should be noted that "Baku Sporting" is in second place in the First League with 25 points.
