The veteran football player, who once wore the "Qarabağ" uniform and is currently the head of the Scouting Department of the Technical Department of AFFA, commented on the "stallions" qualifying for the Champions League league stage again after 8 years:
"It was a tense match. It cannot be expressed in words. Thank God, after 8 years we qualified for the Champions League again. We will play against great teams. I thank "Qarabağ" again. I wish them success in the following games. We can watch the game of giant teams like "Barcelona", PSG, "Real" in Baku. When you hear the names of these clubs, you get excited (laughs). I would personally like to see "Barcelona" in Baku. Yesterday, at the press conference, Gurban muellim said that he would not want "Barcelona" to be an opponent. But it is great that they have come this far. From now on, it will only be experience. I have been a hardcore fan of "Barcelona" for years. I would like to see them in our country. This is the dream of not only me, but millions of football fans."
It should be noted that although the "Qarabağ" - "Ferencváros" match ended with a 3:2 victory for the guests, according to the final result of the two matches, Aghdam residents qualified for the league stage of the Champions League.
