The agreement to postpone the "Neftchi" - "Qarabag" match in the Misli Premier League was not unequivocally received among fans. In particular, the fans of the "White-Blacks" reacted more sensitively to this decision and stated that they were against such concessions in advance.
Regarding the issue, Honored Artist, famous football fan Bahram Bagirzade expressed his opinion to Idman.Biz.
Bagirzade stated that it is not correct to approach the issue only from the perspective of formal football rules:
"From the point of view of strict football rules, perhaps "Neftchi" did not take the right step. But I am glad that the club chose a humane approach. What distinguishes us from other peoples is precisely this - to show understanding towards each other and to be able to pass not only on the field, but also in life. Today, "Neftchi" gave such a pass to "Qarabag." I am sure that tomorrow, when "Neftchi" represents our country in European Cups, "Qarabag" will take the same step."
It should be reminded that after the official agreement of the capital club, the Professional Football League postponed the "Neftchi" - "Qarabag" match, which was supposed to be held on February 21, to a later date. It is reported that the decision was made due to "Qarabag"'s tight schedule and international obligations.
