"The claims that I will end my career at the end of the season are not real."
Idman.Biz, referring to sportnet.az, reports that this was stated by Badavi Huseynov, the captain of "Qarabag" club.
The 34-year-old central defender noted that he is not thinking of saying goodbye to football yet: "I don't know where such news comes from, why they want to send me off so quickly (laughs - ed.). We will talk at the end of the season and make a decision for the future."
The experienced player also stated that it is impossible for him to move to another team besides "Qarabag": "I still want to play, I feel that I have the strength. If I can benefit the team, why shouldn't I continue my career? No, I can't imagine myself in any other team than "Qarabag". I hope that our head coach will not say such a thing."
Let us remind that Badavi Huseynov has been playing for "Qarabag" since August 2012. Before that, in the 2011/2012 season, he only wore the uniform of "Sumgayit" in Azerbaijan.
