Azerbaijan's national beach soccer team has played 4 test matches in Turkey.
The team's head coach, Sahib Mammadov, told "Report" about this.
He evaluated the training camp in Turkey:
"We had a training camp in Turkey. We played 4 test matches with Alanya's beach soccer team. We won 3 of them and lost 1. The training camp went well, and thankfully, there are no injured players."
The expert said that the Azerbaijani national team is one of the favorites of the final stage of the European Championship:
"Our first game will be against Belgium tomorrow. We are in Italy now, preparing for the match. We have analyzed our opponents. Of course, we are considered the favorites on paper. But you have to go out and play. If you don't play, nothing can help."
It should be noted that the national team will play its first match tomorrow in the final stage of the European Championship, which starts on September 7 and will last until the 15th in Viareggio, Italy. The team, which is in Group A of League B, will face Belgium at 16:00 Baku time.
League B will be organized into two groups of 3 teams each. The teams that take the first two places in the groups will meet in the semi-finals on September 13. The final and the match for 3rd place will be held on September 14.
