The Azerbaijani national team of veteran footballers played a friendly match in Uzbekistan.
Idman.biz reports that our team went on the trip with the support of AFFA and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The match, which took place in an interesting and friendly atmosphere, ended with a score of 5:5. Veterans such as Huseyn Mahammadov, Arif Asadov, Emin Guliyev, Adahim Niftaliyev, Alim Gasimov, Tarlan Ahmadov, and Mahmud Gurbanov played in our national team. The delegation was led by Oktay Abdullayev, chairman of the Football Veterans Union, and veteran referee Rustam Rahimov.
It should be noted that before the game, our team visited the statue of Heydar Aliyev in Uzbekistan.
