The Azerbaijani team lost to their Turkish counterparts in the final match of the international inter-parliamentary football tournament of the TURKPA member states, which was held in Antalya, Turkey.
"Report" informs that Fatih Şahin scored in the 14th minute of the match, Oktay Çanak in the 26th minute, and Turkish Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Bak in the 60+2 minute. The Azerbaijani team was only able to score one goal in return. Farid Mammadguluzade scored in the 49th minute in our parliamentary team.
Azerbaijani MP Kamran Bayramov was injured in the match and left the game.
The parliamentary teams of Turkey took first place in the tournament, Azerbaijan took second place, and Kyrgyzstan took third place.
It should be noted that this tournament is being held for the first time. 6 teams are competing in the competition.
The Azerbaijani team first lost to Kyrgyzstan 1:2, and then defeated Northern Cyprus 3:0 and advanced to the final as the group leader.
