The final match of the Turkic World Inter-Parliamentary International Football Tournament, held in Antalya, Turkey, has taken place.
Idman.Biz reports that the Azerbaijani and Turkish teams faced each other in the decisive match.
The match ended with a 3:1 victory for the Turkish national team. Fatih Şahin scored in the 14th minute, Oktay Çanak in the 26th minute, and Osman Bak, the Turkish Minister of Youth and Sports, in the 60+2nd minute for the winning team.
Farid Mammadguluzade scored the only goal for the Azerbaijani team in the 49th minute.
With this result, Azerbaijan finished the tournament in second place, while Kyrgyzstan took third place.
It should be noted that our team previously lost to Kyrgyzstan with a score of 1:2 and won against Northern Cyprus with a score of 3:0.
One of the highlights of the match was the injury of an Azerbaijani MP. In the 20th minute of the match, Kamran Bayramov, a member of the Azerbaijani team, suffered a serious injury and was forced to leave the field after receiving medical attention.
