An Azerbaijani businessman is buying shares of the Turkish club "Serik Belediyespor". Sport24.az reports that the local "Ajansspor" publication has released exclusive information about this.
However, the name of the person has not been disclosed. It was emphasized that the businessman will pay 4 million euros for 50 percent of the club's shares.
The businessman initially wanted to invest in Super League representative "Antalyaspor". However, since the shares of the "red-whites" were not suitable for sale, he turned to "Serik Belediyespor", which recently won a promotion to the 1st league.
It should be noted that "Serik Belediyespor" is also a representative of the city of Antalya. The team qualified for the 1st league based on the results of the 2024/2025 season.
