Azerbaijan's national team, consisting of football players under 21, will play its first match today in the qualifying round of the European Championship.
"Report" informs that the team, coached by Aykhan Abbasov, will face Portugal in Group B.
The match will start at 22:30 Baku time at the "Estadio Cidade" stadium in the city of Barcelos.
The match will be managed by Cypriot referee Konstantinos Fellas.
It should be noted that U-21 will hold its next match against the Bulgarian national team in Baku on September 9. This meeting will start at 18:00.
