Azerbaijan's national team of football players under 19 years old started the "Slovenia Nations Cup" friendly tournament with a victory.
"Report" informs that the team, which is in training camp in Slovenia, played its first game against the Icelandic team.
The match held at the "Preddvor" stadium ended with a 2:1 victory for Elkhan Abdullayev's team. Ziya Shakarxanov (46th minute) and Shahin Ibrahimov (55th minute) distinguished themselves in the national team.
It should be noted that the next game within the framework of the U-19 international tournament will be held on September 6 against the Faroe Islands team.
