Sahib Mammadov, the head coach of the Azerbaijan national beach soccer team, assessed the match they played against the England team in the group stage of the first qualifying round of the European Championship.
The expert said in a statement to "Report" that the meeting was difficult.
He emphasized that they are better in terms of level:
"We defeated England with a score of 5:4. The main time of the game ended with a score of 4:4, and we won in extra time. The main thing is to win. The first game is always difficult. It seems to me that we are better than England in terms of level. I am satisfied with the boys. We also want to defeat Belgium and qualify for the super final."
It should be noted that the national team defeated England 5:4 in the first match. The team will play its next group matches against Belgium on May 24 and Lithuania on May 25.
