The Azerbaijan national team has completed the "FIFA Series – 2026" international tournament held in Baku with a victory. The regular time of the final match ended with a score of 1:1, and the winner was determined in a penalty shootout. Thanks to the accuracy of our football players, our national team won the series with a score of 9:8 and was declared the winner of the tournament. Sport24.az reports that the awarding ceremony of the teams was held after the match.
The Azerbaijan national team was presented with the cup of the competition.
The cup was presented to Emin Mahmudov, the captain of our national team, by Sarkhan Hajiyev, the Executive Vice President of AFFA.
