Azerbaijan national team captain Elvin Alizade believes that they will finish the A group in the mini-football world championship in first place.
According to "Report", the footballer said this in a statement to journalists after the match with Slovenia.
He commented on the match they won:
"Although we are the host team, we lost the first game because we couldn't get used to the field. Now everything is going as we want. God willing, we will get out of the group as leaders. I congratulate the entire Azerbaijani people on the victory."
It should be noted that the national team won the second match in Group A against Slovenia with a score of 4:0.
