Azerbaijan national team earns first point in match against Ukraine

The Azerbaijan national team played its second match today in the qualifying round for the 2026 World Cup.

Apasport.az reports that our team, which is in Group D, hosted the Ukrainian national team in Baku.

The guests opened the scoring in the match. Giorgi Sudakov scored. However, our team equalized with a goal from Emin Mahmudov. 

This was the first point our team earned in the qualifying round.
